Private Practice DVD is an American medical drama television program which premiered on September 26, 2007 on ABC. A spin-off of Grey's Anatomy, the series chronicles the life of Dr. Addison Montgomery, played by Kate Walsh, as she leaves Seattle Grace Hospital in order to join a private practice in Los Angeles. The series was created by Shonda Rhimes, who also serves as executive producer alongside Betsy Beers, Mark Gordon, Mark Tinker and Jon Cowan & Robert Rovner, who serve as showrunners due to Rhimes's duties on Grey's Anatomy.

Amelia calls Charlotte to almost discuss her drinking, but she freaks out and hangs up before going into surgery. Sam tells Naomi to go be happy with Gabriel, if that’s what makes her happy. Betsey can be loved anywhere, as long as she’s got Nay, and Nay can apparently only be loved with Fife. He also admits to still wanting to be with Addison. Charlotte finds Amelia after surgery and revokes her privlieges, smelling the alchohol on her breath. Amelia tells her to go to hell and walks off.
Addison tells the shrink she’s thinking about running off with PG to Fiji. Violet says goodbye to Lucas while Pete glares on. Lucas tells her bye bye. They run into each other at the airport and wish each other good luck. Then she runs into Nay looking for Fife. Nay says she loves her and will always be there for her. Nay catches Fife who never got on the plane and he proposes. But no DC, it’s NYC for all. Addison stops, then she’s telling everyone to close Oceanside and open a new place. She tells Sam in bed that night that she still wants a baby, but not with him necessarily. Pete, cleaning, collapses with a heart attack.
